Our Campaign

To address our needs and plans we are initiating an intensive fundraising effort titled the “HAIL, FULL OF GRACE” campaign.  Our aim with this important effort is to raise the funds required to revitalize our church and campus facilities.  We recognize the economic stress on some parishioners.  This campaign provides an opportunity for all of us to prayerfully discern the appropriate level of sacrificial giving.

Our minimum goal is $2,000,000, which will enable us to complete the renovation of the Foley House, construct a new rectory and vesting sacristy, construct a bride’s room annex that will also house new restrooms, and create an outdoor gathering plaza between Foley House and the church. Funds raised over $2 million will allow us to build a low wall and fence with a landscaped garden along Texas Avenue.  A challenge goal of $4,000,000 has also been set which, if met, will enable us to complete all the above components of the campaign as well as invest seed money to purchase Jackson Street from the city to address a long term parking solution. There are several long-term projects that will eventually need to be addressed.  Recently discovered termite infestation in the church and much needed repairs to the deteriorating stonework in the Chapel of Our Lady of Perpetual Help are cause for concern. With the age of our church building, an endowment fund is needed to provide for the perpetual care of our important and beloved Annunciation Church.  Finally, a new parish hall will complete our campus renovations.  We expect these projects to be included in phase 2 sometime after the successful completion of our phase 1 campaign.
