Congregational Church of Batavia
A Campaign to Improve Our Finances & Facilites
Since 1835, the Congregational Church of Batavia has been a vibrant and faithful community that is committed to Christ, to one another, and to serving the world. Guided by our Vision for 2025, we are a church that welcomes all, grows in faith, serves as the hands and heart of Christ, and listens for God’s still-speaking voice.
Past members worked hard to establish a strong heritage of caring for our wonderful building and grounds. Throughout much of our history, CCOB has undertaken a capital campaign roughly every five years to address pressing facility needs. Our last major renovation, the education wing, was completed in 2017. Now, nearly a decade later, with over 190 active households, a dedicated pastor, and strong lay leadership, we are being called to follow this example.
To continue living out our mission and sustain our strong heritage, we are embarking on a capital campaign to meet our highest priority financial and facility needs, strengthen our church home, and support our call to ministry for generations to come.
