School Campus
Outdated Science Lab & Facilities
Science Classroom: The existing science classroom does not have the infrastructure, space, storage, or equipment necessary to conduct today’s project-based science and engineering curriculum.
Restrooms: The children’s restrooms are old, worn, and not ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) code compliant.
Not-So-Temporary Trailers
Development Office:
This office’s vital support for our school is limited by its unprofessional, unwelcoming, temporary modular trailer office.
Playground Space: Important school playground space is occupied by the Development Office’s modular trailer.
Church Campus
Aged Church Office Building
Former Rectory Building: The aging 1940’s-era building is inadequate for our staff offices and increasingly expensive to maintain, especially its unutilized spaces.
Accessibility: The entrances, restrooms, and second floor are not ADA compliant or easily accessible to people with mobility problems. And, the building cannot be easily or inexpensively retrofitted to accommodate an elevator.
HVAC: The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning system is outdated, not cost efficient, and inconsistently regulates the temperature throughout the building.
Electrical System: The old 1940’s wiring system cannot support current office technology. As a result, our technology systems don’t function adequately, and our Wi-Fi is limited.
Meeting Space: Our only meeting space is the former dining room which is a difficult place to hold confidential and effective meetings.
Health Hazards: The old paint is lead based and some areas have mold, creating a health hazard and concern for our staff, parishioners, and visitors.
No Large Gathering Space
Social Space: We don’t have an adequate parish or fellowship hall on our church campus to host larger parish social activities and special events such as wedding receptions or funeral luncheons.
School Gym: Most parish social activities and special events have to be held in the school gym. This is inconvenient for parishioners and visitors and problematic for students and staff during school hours and events.
McHugh Hall: Knights of Columbus, Youth Ministries, and other ministry events are constrained by the size of this hall that seats only 40 people.
Fellowship Space: Our lack of large fellowship space inhibits us from building the more closely connected parish community that we desire.
Inadequate Adult Meeting Space
Meeting Space: Our limited meeting space is small, stuffy, and uncomfortable.
Ministry Space: We’ve had numerous offers and requests to start various family, spiritual, social, and service ministries. Unfortunately, we must limit or deny them simply because we don’t have adequate, adult meeting space.
