Our Plans

Infrastructure Improvements

At the forefront of our plans are infrastructure improvements to provide greater comfort, cost-savings, and safety.

Roof Replacement: We will replace the six church classrooms and all of the school’s roofs.

Window Replacement: We will install updated, high-efficiency windows in the church and school, including our clerestory windows.

New HVAC System: The church’s education wing and the school and gym will get an improved energy and cost-efficient heating and cooling system.

Parking Lots & Safety: All of the church and school parking lots and the circle drive asphalt will be replaced for better drainage and restriped for more efficient parking and traffic flow. Additional lighting and better security cameras with a broader view will be added to improve security.

Sign & Landscaping: Enhanced signage facing passing traffic and improved landscaping will add visual appeal, frame our unique and striking church building, and offer a welcoming invitation to our church and school campuses.

Church Facility Improvements

Lower Level: Our church’s lower level will be remodeled to be considerably more functional with updated carpeting, wallcovering, and ceiling.

Organ: An organ builder (like Reuter Company in Kansas City) will install a new digital relay system, replace the organ console, and make other needed improvements and repairs.

Atrium: Our atrium will be updated and remodeled to be inviting and welcoming. Glass doors will provide a view of the sanctuary and enable the area to serve for overflow seating and for parents with small children to go and still see and participate in our services.

AV Equipment: We will install updated chancel audio-visual and recording equipment and lighting to record and live-stream our services as a way to spread God’s word to a larger audience, attract more members, and provide a needed service to our homebound or sick members.

School and Childcare Facility Improvements

Restrooms: We will update the school restrooms’ plumbing and make them more accessible, spacious, and brighter. The classroom restrooms also will be updated and renovated.

Classrooms: The classroom cabinets and counters will be replaced or repaired to provide ample and appropriate storage for teachers and students.

Entryway: We will renovate the school entryway to be more welcoming, inviting, and functional.

Office: The main school office area will be remodeled into one modern and functional space that includes the childcare and pastor offices.

School Gym: We will improve the gym’s audio/visual system.
