Phase I: Parish House Renovation Projects Completed in 2019

• Heating and Air Conditioning: A new hot water heat distribution system was installed, the steam heat distribution was replaced, and a new central air conditioning system was added to all three floors. The new systems allow zone heating and cooling controls.
• Ceilings & Light Fixtures: The first and second floors and the third floor hallway had new ceilings and light fixtures installed.
• Fire Protection System: A full fire protection system was added to all three floors of the Parish House. We also committed to the town that by June 2021 a full fire protection system will be added to the Sanctuary, assembly wing, Wallace Chapel, and food pantry wing.
• Office Space:  To consolidate the church offices, the former Library was converted into an office and the Crib Room was repurposed into two smaller meeting spaces on the second floor. In the east entryway leading to the church office suite, a more visible welcome area and additional storage space was created.
• Kitchen: The Parish House kitchen was updated to better serve staff, volunteers, and visitors.

Future Phase Projects

Subsequent Master Plan phases will be designed and developed as funding becomes available. Our plan was intended to be a roadmap to the future of Hills Church.
