Good Shepherd Catholic Church

Good Shepherd Catholic Church & Good Shepherd Catholic School have joined Mater Dei and Reitz Memorial High Schools with our own capital campaign, thus moving forward with our Phase I Church Renovation and Phase II Little Rams School Extension.
Our plan is that by June 22, 2025, we celebrate the Success of the Honoring Our Traditions, Building Our Future campaign and begin moving forward in late summer and early Fall with renovation and construction plans.

Our exciting plans are to complete the top priorities 
of our Long-Range Facilities Master Plan to significantly improve our facilities.

Our Phase I Church Improvement include a complete rework of the layout of the Sanctuary to not only make it function better but also make it more beautiful, welcoming, and comfortable.

The plans also call for incorporating familiar and traditional Catholic elements to the altar area. During the celebration of the Mass, the source and summit of our faith in our sacred liturgies, we want the beautiful new sanctuary to reinforce our visual focus on the Holy Eucharist being offered on the altar with the tabernacle behind.

The Phase II School Improvement plan is to 
build a new Preschool and Pre-K addition to the school. This  will elevate our educational facilities so that our teachers and staff can provide the quality Catholic faith-based education our youngest students, their parents, and we, ourselves, expect.
