Infrastructure Improvements

At the forefront of our plans are the infrastructure improvements that will make our facilities more comfortable and provide ongoing cost-savings.

Brick & Mortar Repair
The old, disintegrating mortar from the brick joints will be replaced. This will create a more stable, watertight and attractive building structure to serve the next generation of members and reduce maintenance and energy costs.  

Window Replacement
Updated, high-efficiency windows will be installed at the church's back side, including the large two-story windows, and those in the Sunday School rooms, Fellowship Hall, Choir Room, Office and Chapel Lounge.

Improved HVAC System
An improved, more energy- and cost-efficient HVAC system with zone heating capabilities will be installed in the church building. 

 

Church Facility Improvements

Some modest improvements within our church facility will renew our building, serve our most immediate needs, and meet safety code requirements.

Expanded Entryway
Enlarging our vestibule will provide a more accessible, comfortable and welcoming entryway into our narthex and sanctuary.

Expanded Cafe Space
Removing two offices near our elevator will enable us to expand our café and seating space. A new “Vision Window” will add an attractive element and brighten the space with natural light.

New Main Floor Restrooms
Large, modern, main level restrooms for men, women and families will be convenient and accessible to members and visitors of all abilities.    

New East Wing Emergency Exit
Our staff, members, and visitors will be safer with the creation of a new East Wing emergency exit.
