Our Campaign

We are so thankful to already have $3.2 million for this $8.2 million project, thanks to our previous campaign donors’ generosity and a few thoughtful estate gifts.

Our fundraising counsel recommended we can expect to raise $2 million, but we need, hope, and believe we can do far better. Our parish’s generosity in our last campaign far exceeded expectations. So, we’ve set the campaign’s minimum goal at $3.5 million. But, realizing this higher level of support will require all of us to reach and ultimately give to the very best of our abilities.

Gift Options

To ensure that we reach our objectives and potential, all members and those with a special interest in our cause and church are asked to consider special gifts over and above any regular contributions. Campaign gifts can be made in a variety of ways:

Long-Term Pledges are gifts payable over three years. Pledges are easier for most people and are essential to meeting our goal since it would be impractical, if not impossible, to reach our objectives with one-time, out-of-pocket gifts. Gifts may be paid in monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual installments via cash, credit card, or direct deposit. A 10% or more initial investment toward your total pledge is requested. 

Non-Cash Gifts* include  securities such as stocks, bonds or gifts through qualified charitable distributions such as IRA rollovers; real estate such as marketable land, homes, vacation homes, and rental or commercial properties; or valuable personal property such as precious metals, gems, jewelry, artwork, collectibles and even new or slightly used and classic automobiles, watercraft, and motor homes.

Deferred Gifts* are another way you can support our efforts and are gifts that might be given or arranged for now but may not be received until later. These might be gifts of new or fully paid-up life insurance policies, certain types of trust arrangements, or gifts through a person’s will by bequest.

Matching Gifts provide a possible way to double or even triple your gift to our cause and church. If you serve on the board, work for or have retired from a company that matches charitable gifts, check with the company to see if they match gifts to causes like ours.   

*All non-cash and deferred gifts must be approved by the church before acceptance.
